On Jan. 3rd, Tianjin Arbitration Commission publicize a new list of arbitators. Lawyer Wang Jingzhan from Tianjin Bozhuan Law Firm,China，was in the list.

According to provision 31 of Arbitration Law of the People’s Republic of China, Whereas the parties concerned agree that the arbitration tribunal is composed of three arbitrators, each of them shall chose one arbitrator or entrust the appointment to the chairman of the arbitration commission, with the third arbitrator jointly chosen by the parties concerned or appointed by the chairman of the arbitration commission jointly entrusted by the two parties. The third arbitrator shall be the chief arbitrator. Whereas the parties concerned agree to have the arbitration tribunal composed of one arbitrator, the two parties shall jointly choose the arbitrator or entrust the choice of the arbitrator to the chairman of the arbitration commission.

According to this provision, Lawyer Wang Jingzhan may be chosen as the arbitrator of a particular case by either the claimant or the respondent, or designated by the director of Tianjin Arbitration commmission.

To have a case submited to the Arbitration Commission, an arbitration clause or an independant arbitration agreement shall be made. An example of arbitration clauses instructed by Tianjin Arbitration Commission is like this:

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Contract shall be settled by the Parties through negotiations. Should such negotiations fail or one Party is unwilling to negotiate, the disputes shall be referred to the Tianjin Arbitration Commission for arbitration.

Actually Lawyer Wang Jingzhan already was not only an arbitrator of Tianjin Arbitration Commission, he was also appointed by Tangshan Arbitraion Commission from the year of 2023.
